Pre-Purchase Structural Building Inspection
This inspection looks at all the structural elements of the home and is simply a statement of fact as to whether the property is structurally satisfactory. On completion, our house inspector will send you a short 8-page report via email.
Details and digital pictures are only included if an item is identified that requires attention.
The following elements are inspected:
- Roof exterior and interior
- Plumbing (turn all taps on, flush toilets, turn on showers to make sure water drains freely)
- Electrical (check all power points and light switches with a voltage pen to make sure they all work)
- Gas check (turn on hot water and visually inspect the system).
- External and internal walls
- Slab (where visible)
- RCDs (visual only)
- Smoke detectors (visual only)
This inspection fully complies with Australian Standard AS 4349.1 -2007
